Indian Territory tour. This is an awesome day. From hotel pickup at 9:10 in a luxury shuttle for a short ride to their facility to the return to the Park MGM about 2:30, was a full day with room left for other activities although we were worn out. Our pilot Dustin was awesome. Had a fun and entertaining play list to enjoy on our flight. He gave us some basic instruction and what time to be back. Don’t miss the last bus or you will get left. 😀 This was a two stop adventure. We landed in the bottom of the canyon for 20-30 minutes for a snack and a little bubbly…sodas for some…but plenty of time to enjoy the natural beauty and take a few photos. Second stop was at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon that is owned by the Hualapai nation. A short bus ride to Eagle Point where the Skywalk is. That is a separate ticket required for that and we chose to opt out and walk around and took plenty of photos. Some recommended skipping the Skywalk depending on the crowd due to it cutting into our hiking time. We aren’t big hikers but did enjoy wandering around and was in awe of the beauty of the canyon. We hopped another bus for a 5-minutes ride to Guano point and climbed to the top of Highpoint Hike for more amazing views. It was a bit of a tough climb for this 62-yr-old and 65-yr-old hubby but it was totally worth it. We got back in a bus for a return to base. We were a little early and could have planned that just a tad better but all good. There were a few food options at both stops but we didn’t bother with that. We could give Maverick 10 stars if we could. Yes it’s $$$$ but what isn’t around Vegas but their reviews and safety record says it all. So for your bucket list, Maverick is highly recommended. Be sure and tip your pilot.
