"No Hospitality, Rude Staff , No water in rooms, Unpleasant stay for someone going on a holiday"

Dear [Hotel Management/Future Guests], I am writing to share my recent experience with the DoubleTree by Hilton Niagara Falls, NY, where my client, Ashish Jagwani, stayed from June 3-5 (2 nights) in room 709. While we expected a high level of service from a prominent property like DoubleTree, we were disappointed to find that: 1. The hotel does not have a bellboy service. 2. Water was not provided in the room. 3. Bathroom slippers were not available. 4. The front office staff displayed extremely poor courtesy and attitude. Given the hotel's reputation and location, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the lack of basic hospitality amenities and poor staff behavior fell short of our expectations. I would advise against booking this hotel for future guests due to these shortcomings. It's unfortunate that a well-known brand like Hilton has staff that fail to meet basic hospitality standards. Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Niagara Falls, located at 401 Buffalo Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what one would expect from a Hilton-branded property. To begin with, upon arrival, we were surprised to find that there were no bellboys or staff available to assist with luggage. We had to carry all our heavy bags to the room ourselves, which set a poor tone right at the start. Once we entered the room, we noticed two basic amenities missing — no bathroom slippers and not even a bottle of water provided. When we inquired, we were informed that slippers are not offered at all, and if we wanted drinking water, we would have to come down to the reception to collect it ourselves, as they could not send it to our room due to a lack of staff. To make matters worse, the attitude of the hotel personnel was consistently rude and unhelpful. There was a clear lack of hospitality and customer service throughout our stay. The only redeeming feature of our visit was the proximity to Niagara Falls, which is, of course, breathtaking. But in terms of accommodation, this hotel was a serious letdown. We strongly advise fellow travelers to consider other options when visiting Niagara Falls. This experience was far below acceptable standards, especially from a Hilton property.

This is a welcoming hotel. The staff respects your privacy, yet they are warm to the guests. Breakfast was a bit expensive, no microwave in the rooms but they make sure your towels and basic stuff are available. Our room has a balcony, the surrounding area is quiet, the guests are quiet. STAY HERE

Great property with a great view. Close to the Niagara Falls with well landscaped trails following the Niagara River. Was here for work in the region, but really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. Scott Swagler is leading a great team. Looking forward to future stays when in the area.
